The Host

KEVIN JEFF SMALL

My name is Kevin Small. I'm the host for Residence Survivor here in Milton, Ontario so which means I'm Jeff. I was born in Toronto, Ont. I moved in with my wonderful grandparents who took care of me since I was 4 1/2 years old. Right now I am in Penetangusishene, Ont. I go to Milton school for the deaf as a residence student. I am the Minister of Education for the Student Commitee.

I just wanna to say thanks to the Survivor Crew who started up the Survivor- My very gentlement residence counsellor: Elvis Dressler with all of his hard work, my wonderful aunt, Denise Desroches, the upper south staff, Kim Clay, and Trisha Small (my lovely younger sister). They've been very obliging. Since 10 days of Survivor, it has been a success to prove it!.

On September 29th 2001, the Survivor Crew interviewed more than 30 students who were interested in involving in the First Residence Survivor Adventure. We chose 8 residence students and 8 day students to emerge into the Residence Survivor and it all began on October 3rd 2001.

A few things about E.C.Drury school for the deaf. E.C.D was established at 1963 and the Residence was open a few years later. I've raised in the Residence for 12 years now and I've been through so many thing like peers, environment, and renovating. Right now, JR Residence has everything like satellite, new playground, new cool friendly staff, and new dorm with new bedroom. When I was in Jr Residence, I has to sleep in a stall with other boys.

When I transferred to Sr. Residence, I felt so different and wanting to go back to Jr. Residence. So one day during the summer, I just popped up about hosting the Residence Survivor, I thought it might be a bad ideas. So I purposed to some staff and they supported it and it been a success!.
